I'm getting a pocket gun, which is better .22 semi or 38 revolver?
high point 9mm? Really cheap under $200 on budsgunshop.com and magazines are cheap. It's made in America and you can't get a cheaper handgun round for 22 cents a round after tax! 9mm is plenty powerful for self defense and cheap to plink with at the range with 100rds for $20. I suggest saving up and getting a 9mm because the ammo is cheaper and just invest in a better gun knowing that your going to save on ammo in the long run. My first pistol was $500 and its going to last a lifetime. If you want to be cheap get either of those guns but really you should just save up some more money and consider selling your "unlimited" .22lr rounds if you need to. I have one 9mm and two .22lr firearms. I got the 9 first for protection and the other two are great for plinking and ammo is dirt cheap. I wouldn't depend on either because a 9 is alot more reliable. My semi auto 9 hasn't jammed in 1,000 rounds. I've never had it jam up so I would say go revolver if thats the mechanic system you like but semi auto is plenty reliable if not more.
