WHOOPING COUGH! My baby girl was kissed on the cheek by someone with whooping cough! Can she catch it this way?

My daughter is 6 months old and has had ALL her recommended shots. I was unaware when a good friend of her fathers came and gave my daughter a quick kiss on the cheek! He didnt cough, breathe or spit in her face and it was only very momentarily, but it turns out he has whooping cough! is it possible for my daughter to catch it this way? She seems okay at the moment and this was 3 days ago. She is quite phlegmy but she was before hand from a persistant cold (from all these cold mornings!) I took her straight home rugged up and bathed her straight away and then sat in a heated room with her for the remainder of the night.... Are there any extra precautions i should take? i have been conteplating taking her to the doctors but i was unaware if i needed to wait till any symptoms came through.... any advice needed please!
